Andrew has worked in the nonprofit sector of substance abuse treatment since 2013. He first began working as a Client Advocate at First Step House. In 2014, he started work for The Haven as support staff and subsequently taken on a variety of roles since then including Kitchen Manager, Client Advocate, and Recovery Resident Case Manager. Andrew graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, and the Advanced Substance Use Disorder Counseling Program in 2017. Andrew completed his combined practicum at Collective Recovery Outpatient. Currently, Andrew works closely with the Executive Director and Director of Finance toward program growth and sustainability. He helps to oversee the management of properties, joint commission accreditation, and day to day operations. Andrew is a member of The Haven leadership team they work closely to determine direction and outcomes of The Havens current and future target population(s).
