The Haven Receives Advocacy & Civic Engagement Badge

The Haven Receives the Advocacy and Civic Engagement Credential

We are happy to announce that we have earned the Advocacy & Civic Engagement Credential Badge from Utah Nonprofits Credential Program. The Haven believes that our growth as an agency is essential to be of maximum assistance to our clients and our community.

Utah Nonprofits Association only awards badges to organizations that have proven best practices; this Advocacy and Civic Engagement Credential Badge is the third badge The Haven has earned this year. We are committed as an agency to sustain best practices in every aspect of our work.

The Haven has been serving the state of Utah since 1969, advocating for recovery has been a priority of The Haven for 49 years. The Haven truly believes in the power of community, which is largely demonstrated by the incredible number of Haven Alumni in long-term recovery who directly impact our clients, instilling hope that recovery is possible.

Civic engagement empowers to affect change at the individual, community, and societal level. The Haven has maintained well-established relationships with other community organizations and has remained a credible organization in the recovery community.
